“This training program comes within our close relationship with the UAE Ministry of Education which aims to dedicate all efforts and endeavours towards supporting the sustainable development process as the education factor serves as the cornerstone of the whole process. Today, we live in an open and highly interactive world with various and diverse knowledge resources. Thus finding the information became the least important when compared to way of delivering it within an eeducational system aimed at building values and moral in this critical age,” said H. E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, TRA Director General.

“Based on the data and observations we concluded from our experience in this area last year, we have reassessed training and awareness programs in general and social workers training in particular so that they’re organized throughout the whole year rather than a one-day event only. Based on this, we expect the number of participants in this program to witness a four-fold increase reaching to 220 social specialists targeted compared to only 50 over the last year which reflects the efficiency and value provided and the well prepared training content offered,” H.E. added.

The social workers training program comes in continuation of the aeCERT’s efforts aimed at spreading awareness on the dangers of social networking websites and on how to deal with the latest technology besides building students' capabilities in coping with Internet threats and guiding them towards the optimal use of nowadays technology and best ways to protect user’s privacy.
