Cisco unveiled the nine winners at its Americas Distribution Auxiliary Meeting in Montreal, Canada.

Cisco 2014 Americas Distribution awards reflect a distributor’s outstanding performance in execution around a number of technology categories and business initiatives, including cloud computing, collaboration, data center and virtualization, enterprise networking, and security, as well as services, innovation, enablement, and accelerating the business.
In addition, during the Cisco Partner Summit 2015, held April 27–30 in Montreal, Avnet received Cisco Marketing Velocity’s “Revenue Marketer of the Year” award. This award recognizes Avnet’s positive results in executing revenue marketing campaigns, including successful lead generation, implementation of marketing automation, and maintaining established metrics showing that revenue was positively impacted. This was the first time that a distributor has received a Cisco Marketing Velocity award. Also, Avnet received the Cisco “Services Distribution Partner of the Year” award for achieving the highest service attach rate in the Americas and Avnet’s continued growth in its Cisco Services business.
