Bulgarian cableco Blizoo has launched mobile 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) services with downlink/uplink speeds of up to 75Mbps/25Mbps over mobile operator Max Telecom’s infrastructure. The operator offers three tariff plans: the introductory ‘Mini’ bundle comes with 8GB of data and costs BGN15.99 (USD9.10) per month, the ‘Smart’ plan includes 16GB of data for BGN19.99 per month, while the premium ‘Extra’ provides 24GB for BGN25.99 per month. Potential subscribers could access the internet with a wide range of devices, including mobile routers, USB modems, fixed routers, CarFi (in-car routers), smartphones and tablets.

As previously reported by CommsUpdate, the two operators entered into a wholesale agreement in December 2014, under which the duo will resell each other’s services. Max’s LTE network currently covers 15 cities/resorts, namely Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Bourgas, Stara Zagora, Ruse, Sliven, Pleven, Bansko, Hisarya, Velingrad, Pernik, Blagoevgrad, Golden Sands and St. Constantine and Helena.
