Passive network infrastructure operator Edotco Bangladesh – a sister company of Bangladeshi cellco Robi Axiata as part of the latter’s Malaysian parent group Axiata – has signed a new agreement with Bangladeshi wireless broadband operator Qubee, in order to enable Qubee to share additional passive infrastructure with Edotco for upcoming network rollout projects. Qubee is expected to transition from its existing WiMAX technology to LTE-based operations. As reported by the Financial Express, the deal is the Third Addendum of the existing infrastructure sharing through tripartite agreement among Edotco, Qubee and Robi.
