Microsoft Mobile Device & Services (MMDS) Bangladesh mesmerized the world with their attempt to create the World’s Largest Selfie. The World’s Largest Selfie has been captured with at least 1,151 selfie lovers in one gigantic selfie in front of the Bashundhara City Shopping Mall at 3pm on 22ndNovember.
The world record attempt was to capture the most number of people in one selfie with recognizable faces. The device used in the World’s Largest Selfie attempt is their recently released flagship selfie phone, Lumia 730. In their majestic effort, they attempted to take this World’s Largest Selfie to showcase to the world the enthusiasm and harmony of the people of Bangladesh.
Speaking at the event, Microsoft’s General Manager for Emerging Asia Markets, Sandeep Gupta said “Selfie is something which is trending quite widely nowadays. To mark a milestone with our journey with Lumia, we thought to make the World’s Largest Selfie Attempt –the 1st time in Bangladesh through Microsoft’s flagship selfie device, Lumia 730”.
