Khazna Data Center Limited (Khazna), one of the UAE's largest data center infrastructure providers,majority owned by Mubadala Development Company, announced today the appointment of Hassan AlNaqbi as Chief Executive Officer.
Khazna, Mubadala's latest venture in the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) industry, will commence operations later this year with two state-of-the-art facilities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and will offer clients access to secure and highly reliable data center infrastructure.
Prior to joining Khazna, Mr. AlNaqbi held various senior positions with du (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC), the most recent of which wasas Senior Director, Business Support - datamena and broadcast. Hassan has been actively involved in positioning and promoting the UAE as the new International data hub and comes with rich experience in managing the development and operations of data centers. He also helped in expanding the IP coverage to emerging markets and International hubs as well as enhancing Internet accessibility to contents within the region. Mr. AlNaqbialso held various positions with TECOM and was a member of the UAE Armed Forces.He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management and a higher diploma in Computer Engineering.
