Citrix appointed Parag Arora as its new Area Vice President for India Subcontinent

Citrix has announced the appointment of Parag Arora as its Area Vice President for the India Subcontinent. Parag has been with Citrix for over two and a half years, where he was leading the company’s enterprise and public sector businesses. As part of his new role he will now be responsible for driving Citrix business with enterprise and field sales, consulting services, technical pre sales and the post sales functions across India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
 
“The India Subcontinent is amongst the fastest growing regions for Citrix globally and Parag has already been a key contributor to it in his earlier capacity. His knowledge of Citrix offerings, deep customer relationships and familiarity with the company culture, made him a natural choice to spearhead our India business,” said Rob Willis, VP, Asia Pacific for Citrix.
 
“I’m excited at the opportunity to lead the Citrix business in India as I believe that these are interesting times in the world of virtualization and enterprise mobility in the country. The awareness of the benefits of such evolved technologies are taking root and growing and I hope to maximize the opportunity by becoming a strategic partner of choice to our customers,” said Parag Arora, AVP – India Subcontinent, Citrix.
 
Parag’s appointment reaffirms the commitment Citrix has to the India market where the company has been seeing an increased adoption of Citrix virtualization, mobility management, networking and cloud services solutions over the last few years and market optimism continues to remain substantial. Given the company’s alignment to what businesses need today and its ability to drive business transformation, Parag will focus on a sustained partner strategy aimed at helping customers become more productive while also driving mobile enablement of the enterprise.
