Vox Telecom acquires Dynamic IT

Vox Telecom has concluded its acquisition of managed IT provider, Dynamic IT, as part of its growth and diversification strategy.

Murray Steyn, Executive Head at Vox Telecom stated that: “Convergence and cloud are accelerating the outsourced managed IT market and it is no longer viable to be ‘just’ a telecommunications provider in South Africa. There is a growing demand for vendors to deliver value added, and valuable services for customers, no matter their size.”

According to Vox Telecom, the full Dynamic IT staff complement has already been integrated into Vox Telecom’s existing managed services structure and founding members, Martin Henene and Barry Kemp remain critical members of the team.

Vox Telecom believes that the addition of technical and solutions based expertise, coupled with the fact that it has its own network, and a growing product portfolio, differentiates it from other outsourced partners in South Africa.

“An acquisition of this nature was the next natural step for our business, and takes us closer to delivering an end-to-end solution for our customers – from peripherals to virtual hosted solutions, and everything in between,” adds Steyn.

The Vox Telecom Managed IT solution is designed to not only deliver fully outsourced and managed IT, but also co-exist and support an IT manager or other onsite IT resources within an organisation. Where it delivers a fully outsourced function, it is designed to scale to accommodate growing businesses.

Concludes Steyn: “For us, the integration of Dynamic IT’s team and service offering enables us to deliver a service not dissimilar to that of a private banker. Customers will benefit not only from needs based consultation and technology recommendations, but end-to-end implementation and a hardware rental solution, for those organisations that are unable to finance this through CAPEX.
