Amr Eid Joins GBI as Chief Commercial Officer

Amr Eid has joined Gulf Bridge International (GBI), operator of the Middle East’s highest capacity fiber optic network, as Chief Commercial Officer. Mr. Eid has over 20 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industries having worked for companies such as BT Global Services, HP, and Raya. 

Prior to joining GBI, Mr. Eid served as Vice President of PCCW Global (Hong Kong Telecom) out of their Dubai office. 

“Mr. Eid’s experience and capability will be true assets as GBI continues to grow our customer base, already becoming amongst the largest and most diverse in the region,” said Ahmed Mekky, Board Member and CEO of GBI. “As we look globally, continuing to grow our network past Europe and India, his position will prove to be integral to our expanding operations.”
